INVESTMENT ANALYSIS
Vecteng Capital undertakes the feasibility, development of the project. We undertake the financial modelling to optimise the cost of energy for the client. This includes modelling for energy generation, storage, transmission and distribution. Due diligence is consulted that entails legal, environmental, financial, economic development and technical to prepare the project for bankability. We develop Financial Models to establish cash flow analysis and value. Project information memorandum is compiled.
EQUITY
Vecteng Capital facilitates BEE and local community ownership. As well as private equity funding from local and international funds and institutions. We source equity for the projects. This includes formulating and negotiating the equity subscription and shareholders' agreement. Corporate governance is key. Company secretarial function for records and compliance.
DEBT
We work with our clients to negotiate project and transaction documents, Joint Development Agreements, Sales and Purchase Agreements and other Shareholder Agreements. We secure acquisition financing through local and international commercial banks, development finance institutions and equity funds.
PROJECT AGREEMENTS
Vecteng undertakes the development activities including the design, technology selection, layout and site plan, environmental impact assessment as well as obtaining all the required rights, licenses, permits and consents required for the successful execution of the project. We ensure that every aspect of the project is meticulously planned and compliant with the required regulatory standards, mitigating potential risks that could occur. NERSA licenses.
FINANCIAL CLOSE
We obtain and put together the requirements for lenders and investors to reach financial close. We facilitate the due diligence and close the CPs (conditions precedents) to financial close.
PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Vecteng Capital optimises the performance and value of a client's assets. This includes investment strategy support and risk management. Asset management includes performance monitoring and compliance. We work on optimizing the performance of the asset. We have experienced leaders in board and corporate governance that supports the functions and oversight of the board as an executive/non-executive director.
